Wonderful Trip to the Toronto Reference Library

Two week ago, the students from LINC 4-5 took a great visit to the Toronto Reference Library at downtown.

TRL is a nice place for readers to find and read different kinds of books there, because there are hundreds and thousands books stored in this 5-storey building and you definitely can find one that you are interest in. When you walk in this building, you will find the whole hall is so shining and the reading areas are designed so comfortable. Every reader can easily get a seat there and fully enjoy the time when reading a book beside the huge windows. In addition, the service that the TRL offers is always so efficient and convenient, it just took me several minutes to get the library card to be applied.

With the nice experience and deep impression that I have, I am sure you will see me sometimes in one of the Toronto Public Library with a book in my hands. Knowledge makes the wealth!

North York Ski Centre

It was a nice sunny day yesterday. We, about 20 persons from our class and different levels in Microskills, gathered in the North York Ski Centre. It was the first time for most of us to be in a ski field, so some instructors were arranged to teach our classmates from the very beginning step by step. One of the instructors named Don was so cool to demonstrate the high and prefessional skills by speed skiing down the sharp hill. It's amazing!

It was sad that my English teacher Joseph, who also was the instructor in this ski center during his spare time, twisted his knee last Wednesday, but he was so glad to introduce some equipments and facilities to us such as his son's and his skis and snowboards stored in a staff locker and the new launched lifter with larger chairs . He told us the funny thing happened to him when he put on the skis at the very first time, and also something about the experiences he had when he taught clients in this center. It's interesting!
